As of May 1st Kindred Spirits Pole will no longer require the use of masks at the studio.
You are still welcome to wear one if you prefer, but it is no longer mandatory. Please respect any clients and instructors who choose to continue wearing them.
We do encourage their use to prevent the spread of illness, so utilize them as needed.
We cannot wait to see your beautiful faces!
New Location!
Our new location is 55 Shoemaker Street Unit #13 in Kitchener! It is near Strasburg and Bleams and is serviced by 3 bus routes within a few minutes walk. There is plenty of street parking as well. We did our best to find a new location that was accessible and central for everyone.
Due to the suddenness of our move things are not perfectly polished, in fact we are only getting access to the space on January 1st! Classes will resume in person as of Tuesday January 3rd and things will be different for a little bit. We will not have any mirrors or things in their final positions for the first little bit. Please be patient with us as we are trying to get you all back in as fast as possible, and who doesn’t love a good adventure?
One of the biggest changes is that we will not have permanently mounted poles right away. Due to taller ceiling heights (yay!) we must get new poles and that takes time, so we will be using stage poles. Fortunately for us the pole community is filled with wonderful people who have generously loaned us their stage poles for the time being. We will have 5 stage poles so class capacity will be changing until we can get our final poles put in place. For pole 1 classes we will have no more than 3 people for 2 poles so classes will be capped at 7 people. For pole 2 and above we will have 2 people per pole, so classes will be capped at 9 people.
The other very large change is that we will no longer be able to offer live streamed virtual classes. Sadly, the internet to the building (regardless of price) simply is not fast enough to upload live video. We know this will be disappointing for those who join us from all over the world, but we will continue our video subscription service. This option is even more affordable and once we are settled, we will be looking to expand our class offerings. If you currently have a virtual membership, we will be setting you up with our video subscription for all of January to help bridge the gap and because we understand that an account credit may not be helpful if you do not live nearby.
Emails will be sent to everyone who has classes set to expire after December 1st or unused virtual credits with specific details and options. If you do not receive an email by January 3rd but believe that you should have please reach out.

Sad News
Hello beautiful spirits, it’s Ellie owner of KSP and we need to talk.
Due to landlord issues and choices beyond my control we have to suspend in person classes effective immediately, this is temporary and I hope to be back up and running in our new location as soon as possible however I cannot make any guarantees as to exactly when. We will be up and running by January, even if everything is not perfectly polished.
Any and all class credits will be extended out as necessary to make sure you can use them and more details will follow over email in the next few days. I understand that this is sudden and I apologize for any inconvenience that this causes.
Please rest assured that I am doing everything in my power to make this happen as quickly and smoothly as possible. I love the community we have built over the last two and a half years and will make sure we migrate successfully.
We will be sending out calls for help with the move so if you want a fun and free workout keep your eyes peeled, otherwise we will keep you posted and will run as much as possible virtually. Drink lots of water, eat some food if you haven’t recently, have an amazing rest of your day and we will see your beautiful faces soon. <3

Sunday December 18th, 2022
Low Flow @ 1:00 pm
Join Rhiannon for some sexy, sultry flow and base-work in this 75 min workshop where you learn a choreographed piece. No matter your level, there will be flow options available- come for fun and play, or come for the challenge! Prerequisites include comfortable wrists on the floor and a relatively comfortable shoulder-stand.
Knee pads required. Socks/ heels, and slight shoulder coverage recommended.
Chair Twerkshop @ 2:30 pm
In this 90 minute workshop with Ellie you will learn a choreographed piece with a chair. A little bit of flow, lots of twerking and floor work taught by an experienced performer. This choreography and use of the chair are meant to level up your booty game and bring out your inner sex god. Embrace your sexual side and booty pop the night away.
No experience needed, knee pads are recommended, heels optional.
Outdoor Photoshoot - Peter Yeung
On Sunday September 25th Peter Yeung will take outdoor sessions in Rockway Gardens. If you have been itching to show off all your pole progress this is a great opportunity.
20 minute session for $200
Location: Rockway Gardens, Kitchener
- This will be a fun and empowering photoshoot
- Start will be 10am
- Choice of one apparatus (45mm Black Powder Coated X-Pole or lollipop)
- Bring grip and a list of poses that you can safely execute on your own
- Screen shot or download pictures of the poses that you would like me to edit
- Proofs will be available via dropbox
- Your choice of 4 edited images in high resolution and social media size
- $30 for each additional photo
- Final edit of images may take up to 4 weeks to complete and will be available for temporary download via dropbox

In this 60 minute workshop you will learn pole choreography to the hit song About Damn Time by Lizzo. A little bit of flow, lots of twerking and floor work taught by an experienced performer. This choreography and use of the pole are meant to level up your booty game and bring out your inner sex god. Embrace your sexual side and booty pop the night away. Some pole experience and knee pads are recommended, heels optional.
2:30 pm Freestyle & Choreography Building
This 60 minute workshop is designed to help you create a routine and become more comfortable with freestyle. Work through different exercises to learn how to create combos and transitions that work for you. As you play with your flow we will be layering in musicality, emotions and storytelling aspects. This workshop is beginner friendly. Kneepads and heels welcome.

FloorPlay @ 1pm
Yes! It's a play on words. This is a fun, sexy, floor based dance workshop. It takes the best from stripper style pole floor work and brings it to you in a 1 hour choreo class where you can get steamy and slouty! This workshop will test your core strength and with a strong center you will be able to move fluidly on all levels. We will be exploring a lot of inverted movement and using momentum, gravity, and weight to move ourselves in and out of tricks all over the floor. This choreo is floor based and we will be spending a lot of time on it! Bring tights or yoga pants so you can easily slide all over the floor, socks or heels, and KNEE PADS!
Twerkshop @ 230pm
This 75 minute workshop is for anyone and everyone! This class is all about the fundamentals of twerk. From booty shaking, body rolls, hip checks, and cheek isolations. We will be breaking down all the moves then turn it into choreography to one of my favorite jams! This is a fun rachet fitness class while learning popular dance moves from celebrities like Rhianna and Nicky Minaj. Bring LOTS of water, snacks, sneakers or bare foot it is your choice, cheeky shorts, and KNEE PADS!
Sensual Flow @ 4pm
This workshop is for all levels and is one of the sexiest routines I have ever created! This 60 minute, super sultry, body waving, gliding erotic style, focuses on your own speed of movement around the pole and body control. There are no tricks or inversions in this stripper flow routine. Its is strictly flow, heels, and sex appeal. Bring whatever you feel comfortable wearing to class. I suggest tights or leggings cause there is some floor sliding involved. If you would like to bring a full blown sexy number by all means, please do! Let's get Slouty!
Exotic Flow @ 530pm
(Fast Paced) In this 90 minute workshop we will be learning some intricate flow. If you are experienced in flow class or you're at an intermediate level and want a challenge this workshop is for you! We will first start by breaking down all the tricks and finish off with a fierce 2 min poleography! Heels are always optional but BRING KNEE PADS
